I work for Pharmaceutical company developing new medicines and my role is managing a project where 3 teams are involved. Even if we trust our employees, we worried about data and information leakage to our competitors. We had several internal rules to prevent data and information leak but often it was hard to find out who did restricted activities. It was a stress to employees and created tension between managers and employees.

We tried one of the data leak prevention software for testing but it was very expensive and had too much limitation on employee's daily workflow decreasing employee performance. After some search, we found StaffCop and finally it was software we were lookiong for.

StaffCop is easy to install and manage. The best thing is employees don't have to do anything to overcome the limitation like previous software, it keeps our normal work efficiency. All information about file accesses, copies, print outs and file transferring to USB, CD or any other media are kept and I only need to check daily or weekly to see unauthorized or unusual activities. StaffCop also captures screenshots so its good to find out what other employees are doing from my computer in real time. Since we trust our employees, we don't screen what employees are doing at work hours but StaffCop is also great for that purpose. StaffCop really gave us freedom from suspecting employees and creating family-like work environment while really keeping our data inside the company.

Our company was looking for an easy to use solution that would provide us with the ability to monitor what any employee was doing throughout the day. In one particular department, there was a feeling that the Internet was not being used for legitimate company purposes. This was obviously having an effect on staff productivity and leaving the company exposed to potential problems.

After a long search, we decided to trial StaffCop software to see if it would meet our needs. The ability to deploy software without user interaction on the target machine was fantastic. Perhaps one of the best features of StaffCop is its simplified licensing model. Many other programs are complicated to set up and licence but StaffCop is not, it represents excellent value for money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of solution.
