Generating Reports

The Report Wizard is used to build reports. You can open the Report Wizard from the StaffCop menu ("Reports / Report Wizard") or as a standlaone application from the "Start" menu (it is also possible to start the Report Wizard according to schedule if you use the Scheduler).

The Report Wizard builds reports for all agents connected to the system in the list or for the selected agents only. You can build reports for any period you are interested in. Once you specify these settings, the Report Wizard will query the selected agents and download the available set of logs to the administrator's computer. The report generation process will be started right after that. The time necessary to generate a report depends on many factors. For example, a one-day report for a network consisting of 20 computers will be generated in not more than 1-2 minutes.

By default, the report includes all information collected by StaffCop. At the same time, you can create special reports for all or separate employees. Such reports may contain only part of information. See the "Report Customization" section for details.

The report is created in the HTML format and can be viewed in any modern browser. All created reports are stored in the folder specified in the StaffCop settings. By default, it is "My Documents\StaffCop\Reports".
