- Take screenshot at changing active window or web page
- Special monitoring: take screenshots when a specific application (web-site) is running
- See all screenshots taken by users with "PrtSc" button.
- Record desktop video
- Live view of remote desktops
- Control of a remote desktop (mouse and keyboard)

- Linux terminal capture
StaffCop can take screenshots at the specified interval or by changing active window (web page). If the second option us enabled, a screenshot is taken each time when a user switches between applications or web-pages, for example from MS Word to Thunderbird or from one Firefox tab to another.
You can get a list of screenshots taken for a specific application, user, PC, web-site or department. If a user has two screens, for a example a notepad with connected extetnal monitor, screenshots will be taken from both screens and merged to a single file.
You can download a specific screenshot or all screenshots packed in a single ZIP-archive. Or you can view them in StaffCop admin panel with either manual or automatic scrolling.
Besides common options of taking screenshots as a specified interval and at the moment the active window is changed there is an option called "Special monitoring". If we specify an aplication or website for special momnitoring, screenshots will be taken with a higher frequency all the time when this application is running or this web-site is open.
See all screenshots taken by users with "PrtSc" button
StaffCop allows to get a list of screenshots that were taken by a user on a workstation. This function is very useful when it comes to information security issues, as users may take screenshot of sensitive data in order to get it outside of the corporate network as an attached image (or as an image inside a document). Administrator can get notifications each time a user takes a screenshot.
Record desktop video
You can record videos of a remote desktop to watch them in StaffCop admin panel or download as mp4 files and watch in your desktop media player. If a user has two screens, for a example a notepad with connected extetnal monitor, video records will be taken from both screens and merged to a single file.
Live view of remote desktops
You can view remote desktops in real-time mode, several screens at once - just like in video surveillance! If a user has two screens, for a example a notepad with connected extetnal monitor, you will see them both merged in a single frame.
Control of a remote desktop (mouse and keyboard)
When you are watching remote desktop in real time you can take control over the remote workstation and control it's mouse and keyboard. It can be used in case by system administrators for fixing issues without the necessity of phisical presence at the workstation (see case 3).
Web-cam snapshots
You can see who logged into the system, by comparing the picture taken from the web-cam to the employee account. This function is useful when you are on an investigation and the responsible person claims that he (or she) didn't log in to the system when the incident happened. Moreover, you can set up periodic snapshots taking to check how often employees really leave their workplaces.
Linux terminal capture
If you need to monitor Linux-based workstations it's essential to monitor user activity in terminal applications. StaffCop allows not only to get the input in the text format, but also to view the record of working in terminal as a GIF image which is far more convenient.
